Local Harvest CSA
Local Harvest CSA is a cooperative of five certified organic family farms in New Hampshire. In a Community Supported Agriculture model, members purchase farm shares directly from local farmers at the start of the harvest season. This allows the farms to deliver fresh, high-quality, seasonal produce at an affordable price. Members pick up their weekly farm share at a designated pick up location and are provided with recipes as well as prep and storage tips to help them eat through the weekly share.
Our organic cooperative CSA allows each farm to grow a variety of produce and provide a diverse yet consistent selection to our members. As the growing season progresses, you will see changes to the selection and variety of produce in your share. We strive to provide a balanced mix of new-to-you as well as tried-and-true favorite vegetables and fruits.
Throughout the season you will receive leafy greens, juicy tomatoes, eggplant, potatoes, squash, melon, peppers, and much more.
In Sanskrit, ‘Manah’ means mind and ‘Shakti’ means power.
At Manah Shakti, the goal is to provide mindful solutions that really work. These solutions are a combination of modern techniques/therapies and ancient knowledge.
Energy healing modalities and Yoga help my clients bring harmony in their mind and body as they let go of past patterns, conditioning of the mind, memories, traumas and limiting beliefs that are holding them back. This brings inner strength and peace which in turn helps in finding their authentic self and true potential.
I equip and empower them with skills so they can take care of themselves in the future. The awareness, clarity, and resolution that the clients get come from their own subconscious, and hence the healing is permanent.

What’s your favorite Indian Food? I have so many, from tangy Chaat and Channa Masala Curry to soothing Tomato Rasam with Potato Fry. I have been passionate about food and cooking since my teenage days. My South Indian family enjoyed traditional foods and I learned from my mom and grandmas. I also grew up enjoying all kinds of Indian Cuisine and took culinary classes making North Indian dishes.
No matter the type of cuisine, the use of a spice mix (Masala) is common to almost all Indian dishes. Whenever I made something with commercially available masalas, I found that they all lacked freshness or missed something - a certain ingredient or the aroma I was looking for. I would end up adding my own powders and dry spices in addition to the masala to bring about the flavor I wanted. Afterall, it is the masala that makes or breaks a dish!
That’s when I decided that I would own every dish I prepared, make the masalas myself and customize it, to elevate each dish. The results were unbelievably good! The journey has been amazing, from the research to the countless trials that went into creating my own special spice mixture for each dish. I know exactly what ingredients go into each of the spice mixtures, I control the oil, salt and sugar, and there are no chemicals or preservatives used whatsoever.
A few years ago, I cooked a full course Indian meal for my colleagues at work. For many, this was their first experience with Indian spices. I also shared samples of my masalas. They loved the aroma of the spice mixes, and many started using my masalas in their day-to-day cooking. Thus, Masala Mom was born.
